After graduating with a degree from The University of the Arts, Lucy pursued her passions in both photography and art specialising in portraiture. Her work has been exhibited widely and shortlisted for several awards as well as appearing in print. Working from her East London studio she prides herself on capturing the essence and inner life of her subjects reproducing favourite images of children, adults, or even pets in pencil on fine grain cartridge paper with great attention to detail. She believes portraiture should be deeply personal, affordable, and classic enough not to date but contemporary enough to always feel current no matter where it is displayed.
